The second annual $1,000 Ken Rusch Memorial Golf Scholarship was awarded this past week to Michael Burgess Jr. of Rancho Cotate High School. That's the good news. The bad news is that a similar $1,000 scholarship available for a female golfer went unclaimed, with no applicants.
